PADI Assistant Instructor
During the Assistant Instructor course you will take your Divemaster training to the next step, learning how to introduce new knowledge and skills independently or under limited supervision.
As an assistant instructor your responsibilities will be increased, enabling you to also teach a limited selection of courses including:
- PADI Seal Team
- Bubblemaker
- Discover Scuba Diving
- Peak Performance Buoyancy
This provides great experience to prepare you for progressing to an Open Water instructor.
The eLearning and classroom presentations will cover multiple aspects including:
- Learning and Teaching
- Discover Scuba Diving
- Risk Management and Licensing
- Knowledge Development Presentation
- Skill Development
- Confined Water Training
- Open Water Training
In-water training will include:
- Confined Water Teaching
- Open Water Teaching
- Demonstration of 24 dive skills
- Rescue Assessment
A final standards (open book) exam completes the course.
