Continue Diving
Congratulations on your existing certification!
What’s next? It’s important to keep your skills fresh & expand your knowledge to really enjoy diving.
There are many possible options within the PADI system, the 2 main tracks covering core diving skills & speciality diving skills.
Core track
There are 3 key levels within the core certification track;
- Open water diver - maximum depth of 18meters
- Advanced open water diver - maximum depth of 30meters
- Rescue diver - learn how to recognise, prevent & manage problems
After rescue diver you can either continue on the recreational track, up to master scuba diver, or enter the professional track, starting with Divemaster.
Specialities
Speciality diver courses give you the opportunity to try new types of diving & learn the specific skills required in those environments.
It can be a good way both learn skills needed for specific dives & also re-ignite your love for diving after a period of time.
During the advanced open water course you will already experience an introduction into 5 speciality areas, however there are a lot more possibilities.

For experienced divers, there are a number of TecRec course options, which will expand your knowledge & skillset beyond that attainable by recreational divers.
